Primarily developed for Animal Welfare purposes, the Poultry Stunning Bath Current Monitor (PSM) is regarded as an important tool within the industry worldwide.
The PSM is a device used for setting & checking the calibration of Electrical Stunning Baths and producing traceable results of true rms electrical stunning bath currents, on a daily basis.
The PSM can store up to 40 sets of readings (Date & time, rms current & Time in bath ), which can then be downloaded to a PC via AGL user-friendly software for quality/ verification purposes etc and to enable a full report to be generated. The control of the process can then be audited by external organizations and veterinary personnel as required...
Utilisation of this device, should enable companies to offer confidence to their retail outlets, that the stunning process is being carried out in accordance U.K. Government & European guidelines and Directives.

This Stunning checker device, is designed to work in conjunction with both AC & DC electrical stunners, and has been developed in conjunction with the Division of Food Animal Science, University of Bristol UK, and is currently being used by independent companies and major organisations worldwide.
The device can also be used for dry stun applications.
